Track Name: Sunday
It rained on Sunday
and that’s the only thing of interest
that happened to begin with
Now I’m in a strange way
where nothing is exciting
wondering while I’m writing
if I’ll go out in style
drenched in my denial

Days will pass like squad cars
rapid is the time frame
a vapid kind of mind game
Stumble trough some odd bars
about the introverted extrovert
who’s face will frequent trampled earth
I don’t want to hear it
and you don’t want to hear it more

So I’m
drinking Lipton’s worst concoction
Chasing it with wine
Drizzles on the widow sill to count the passing time
I’m bored again
but if I lose myself I’ll lose my only friend

Now as I lay in child’s pose
I’m contemplating fiction
to live in contradiction
Walk on stage in wild clothes
to appear as if I matter
that i live a life of glamour
exposed I am a slacker
composed of woven patterns

But I’m still
drinking Lipton’s worst concoction
Chasing it with wine
Drizzles on the widow sill to count the passing time
I’m bored again
but if I lose myself I’ll lose my only friend
Track Name: Lines On The Wall
You trip and you fall victim to
the catastrophic absolute
the cattle call is closing soon
you caterwaul at each salute
and each vermouth you drink to health
you think too hard on future wealth
and sink too far to reach the shelves
we wink and nod to teach ourselves

With tongues in our cheeks
we’ll pretend we’re complete
let’s just waste our whole lives
doing things we don’t mind

I hold you tight in my embrace
and speak word some genius misplaced

I tell you that
Growth is not measured by lines on the wall
By your weight on a scale or the first day you crawled
I've been here awhile now
So I know what to do when you fall

The pendulum is swinging still
Like the setting sun in a silent film
You're regretting fun cause you think you will
The kettle rung from the steam it built
And the dream you built you fear is just
A dream to wilt and melt to dust
This stream of guilt won't seem to rust
And greener fields weren't meant for us
And all that I know
Now that rain's turned to snow
That I'm bitter and cold
Cause I fear I'm too old
Now hold me tight in your embrace
And speak words that you had misplaced
You tell me that
You tell me that
Growth is not measured by lines on the wall
By your weight on a scale or the first day you crawled
I've been here awhile now
So I know what to do when you fall

What's next? Just the usual
Will bread make you fruitful?
Will stress keep you youthful?
Will regret make you useful?
May your crucial attempts
To live frugal prevent
The day's brutal intent
To say rueful laments about you
Track Name: Each Day
We all have friend succeeding in our stead
Let us share
Displeasure in rereading public threads
Lets compare
on which wet floor should I slip up on
who said more with each hiccup spawned
and though I’m glad to see how far you’ve progressed
it seems i’m slated to be painted as a dated address

Cause
Each day
Is exactly
Identical
to every day since I turned twenty-one
now my loose teeth
quiver from my loose leaf
I shiver till I fall apart
at any mention of the setting sun

Savagely subscribed to be mundane
Color me
Romantically disguised to seem arcane
I’ve been stumbling
Through almost every single choice I’ve ever chose
and still I sell a sour supper with my face composed
and thanks for offering me a fifty cent raise
there’s something stopping me from toppling the conquering craze

they say that
Each day
Is exactly
Identical
to every day since I turned twenty-one
now my loose teeth
quiver from my loose leaf
I shiver till I fall apart
(I am falling apart)
at any mention of the setting sun
Track Name: Approaching Feathers
When I’m with you
I don’t feel the passage of time

Each day’s Brand new
each cliche unused
we exchange bad news
till we change our moods

its sublime

When my month is a mess
you will make me wrinkle my eyes

and the brunt of the stress
are just grunts of regrets
just a funk to address
with your some spunk and finesse

i am feeling fine

I’ve been relying on the notion
we will live forever
but apparently till hell has frozen
life’s a breeze and we’re approaching feathers
So lets agree to never joke about
an awkward life thats led without each other

when my father lost his thoughts
and forgotten my name

I was encumbered by shock
many slumbers ’d lost
but The comfort you brought
was the wonder i sought

I Proclaim

Some macho cliche
some hallow headway
though this pain

Now 4 years pass
and death came back for an encore

with my hand in your grasp
understanding the past
you’re commanding the mast
and demanding I caste
off the shore

I’m nothing without you

I’ve been relying on the notion
we will live forever
but apparently till hell has frozen
life’s a breeze and we’re approaching feathers
So lets agree to never joke about
an awkward life thats led without each other
Track Name: Naked On The Beach
There's no one here for miles and that feels amazing
The sun's reflecting on the tide like i'm complaining
The soothing sounds of summer waves they crash around me
I've got half a mind for pleasure and the rest for wasting

While the world is still asleep
I'm standing naked on the beach
Like the dirty hippie I aspire to be

The roads are paved with salty sand just like the buildings
The water wants us all to swim and I don't want to hurt their feelings
I'm caught inside the undertow to indulge this ocean screaming
This sea breeze seeks to harmonize and join me in my singing

So call me sentimental
If you do not know my name
My name is hard to spell and even harder to say

The sea foam here reminds me of a million bubble baths
I look like father Christmas now to try and make you laugh
I was a growing boy but now i'm just a smaller man
The partial portrait of my father standing in the sand

So I'll forget concerns
But like the bird who missed the worm
Tomorrow morning the hunger will return

No matter what I say
A million words couldn't do this picture justice
No matter what I say
A million words couldn't do this picture justice
No matter what I say
A million words couldn't do this picture justice
No matter what I say
A million words couldn't do this picture justice
No matter what I say
A million words couldn't do this picture justice
Track Name: Catching A Chill
Who here decides
what words will not describe harmony
Like discourse and cacophony

Who’s here to choose
which colors they will use
when composing a sunset for me

And todays filled with details
and gaudy excuses
dirt under finger nails
I’m spotty and useless

The grin here is genuine
but if you could be a friend
I know you will

Find me just catching a chill
Track Name: More Than Reveries
I don’t know

I don’t know what I am am doing
said everyone you’ll ever meet
and though often thought a shoe-in
my pride will ruin my mystique

See I was going to be a genius
of this I’m sure I could of been
But I took comfort in my weakness
So I could be as deep as skin

As Deep as
Tide pools by the sea side
Discreet as
Students told to be quiet
I think I’ll lose my use in due time
but before the tulips line the street signs
I wanna prove to you I’m more than Reveries
More than a cliche verse
wrapped in rhymes from nurseries

Will I die beneath this oak tree
(Where will I die)
Or will I fly beyond the sun
(Where could I fly)
Could I find the life i’m quoting
in just one night of smoking gun

Could a barber make me cooler
or would I have to Change my clothes
I’ll just pretend that I’m too guarded
When I say everyone and no-one knows

I’m as Deep as
Tide pools by the sea side
Discreet as
Students told to be quiet
I think I’ll lose my use in due time
but before the tulips line the street signs
I wanna prove to you I’m more than Reveries
More than a cliche verse
wrapped in rhymes from nurseries

Say goodbye to who you were
before you were who you are
Now you feel nostalgic
for the towel you’ve thrown in
though you’re moaning

Say hello to who you’ll be
the kind of man that no one sees
upon the road you’re on
cause all you do is all you’ll ever do

Cause no one know
(no no one knows)
you don’t know
(no you don’t know)
They don’t know
(hell they don’t know)
They don’t fucking know
(fuck man they don’t know)
Track Name: Enough
You’re weighing your prospective life against
a list of your achievements in a row

The methodical progression of your life
and every lesson that you know
seems to go
swiftly words success out every aperture
your friends are so supportive that they’re mad at ya

But they don’t know the words rebounding in your skull
the terms reverberating round without control

Am I good
Am I smart Enough
to conclude if my spark’s bright enough
Am i rude to say that i would love some more
But before
I move am I humble enough
Is it crude to mumble Im enough
to consume the hearts and minds of who want more

they say
I know something will happen soon if not before

Content at twenty-five is like
a high-schooler who likes the way they look
and though you’ve lost the instrumental
you can hear there is potential in the hook
but what’s got you shook is
you seize the opportunity
to swing through any scrutiny
to catch you up
though beautify brutally
and truthfully
you’re only just an amateur

But they don’t know the words rebounding in your skull
the terms reverberating round without control

Am I good
Am I smart Enough
to conclude if my spark’s bright enough
Am i rude to say that i would love some more
But before
I move am I humble enough
Is it crude to mumble Im enough
to consume the hearts and minds of who want more

they say
I know something will happen soon if not before

But I’m not sure
I’m not sure
Track Name: Beauty Born Of Balanchine
We both possess this burden
Working hard to find the time we need to breathe

The daily luxury's our gluttony for cups of tea
A crutch we bear so comfortably
While we reflect we think
Upon the last few years regrets and drink
Your dancer's feet lie upon the head
Of my full size bed
Come walk with me
Beauty born of Balanchine

I'm a guppy in this culture pond
And you're showing me the tributary
But as pressure builds
We don't respond very well do we

My digits dance
Along your elbows towards your hands
To trace your chin calms me like the morning wind
Your auburn eyes expand cross lands where ships capsize
Baptize all the non believers with your gaze
Lets watch the stars
Like our favorite film by Almodovar

I'm a guppy in this culture pond
And you're showing me the tributary
But as pressure builds
We don't respond very well do we

Find these Autumn evenings
Are ruined by some chronic reasoning
Call it pain for progress like babies teething
But there's a pink elephant that no one is seeing
And I feel like some crazy person
Who eats his words to maintain his figure
And I know I can be an awful earthling
who might not ever get to float this river

All I want to give to you is a stress free day
All I want to give to you is a stress free day
All I want to give to you is a stress free day
All I want to give to you is a stress free day

(And everyday)

((I'm an arrogant person declaring his purpose define myself worthless to win these arguments with you))

I'd love a quiet evening
Where we could drink at home
And argue over where we'll eat
The summer's over now where it belongs

It seems so bad
To covet things that no one has
To stomach dreams that no one grabs
Track Name: Kidney Stones
These days they pass like kidney stones
said a wiser man than me
To this I just laughed As I scrolled through my phone
To pretend like I was comforting
Your boredom is based in the places you've been
And the taste of the wind in your lungs
Stop and see you are
More than the waste of the days that you grin
Always chased by the sin you run from

What if somebody told you
That things would be fine as a violin bow
It seems like you're falling off
Well maybe just smile and let go

You see despair is a clarity the rich can't afford
Life's a bitch when ignored by your friends
You're prepared to be narrowly fit to be more
For the big heart award at the end
You feel backwards and bashful a babble of terms
You unravel each worm like a flower in bloom
I'm a coward who croons every hour past noon
Locked in towers consumed by the earth

What if somebody told you
That things would be fine as a violin bow
It seems like you're falling off
Well maybe just smile and let go

What do you think?
You think you're a god?
You are no god
A man in the sink
And a child in a tub
An infant in love
An imprint from drugs
Consumed
Your tongue tying tunes

Days they pass like kidney stones
And no one denies that it's true
So we all will laugh while we scroll through our phones
And pretend that we know what to do

I was going to say I love you
Hope that makes you feel much better
